I am a born again Christian. I believe in the inerrant Word of God and
that God inspired men to write what He put into their hearts and minds.
He took elaborate steps to preserve the accuracy of His Word for thousands
of years. I believe that the Christian Bible contains an accurate
account of the story of man from Adam and Eve through to the period of the
New Testament. I believe that God created all things, and Scripture
says that He created them for His good pleasure.
God loves us and all
men down throughout all the ages so much that He gave Jesus, His only
begotten Son, to live among us as a living testimony of who He is.
Jesus came to testify of the Glory of His Father, to draw all men to God and
to die to save us from our sins. I believe that all men have sinned
and must be saved by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. If any man will
confess his sins and confess Jesus as His Savior, he shall be saved.
It is not for the wise and learned, but for those who become as children and
believe the testimony of the Holy Spirit speaking to their hearts. Amen and
amen!
God has already fulfilled hundreds of
prophesies. But there are still prophesies that remain unfulfilled.
You and I are living in a most awesome and fearsome time. God said
that He would return before the generation of Jews that returned to Israel
passed away. That was in 1968.
I believe that we are living in the last years of life on earth as we have
known it. God will be removing His people from the earth before the
Great Tribulation. I do not profess to know exactly when that will be,
but God does say that His Church should not caught by surprise, that we
should be watching and ready for "that Day". I believe that day is
very close. Are you ready?
Early on, man sold out to Satan. God did not create robots or mindless
creatures who would automatically love Him. God created us with a free
will. He will not force you to love Him. But He has gone to
extraordinary measures to leave us a record of His love for man, how He
created us, why He created us, how to be saved from our sins, and a glimpse
forward into all eternity.
And He says, Come unto me all
you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. That
"rest" in through the saving Grace of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, God's
Son.
Come, please, come.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will bless your time here. I pray that
your heart will be soft and open to the Love of God and the saving Grace of
Jesus Christ.
Read the
Bible for yourself. The book of John is a great place to start.
Then, I John, where John tells us that we can "know" God. We, of
course, will never know all about God, but what glory--God has revealed so
much of Himself and His ways through His Word. And the Holy Spirit
gives us spiritual understanding into the ways and thoughts of God.
God longs for us to know Him. He created
us! He wants to fellowship with us through the Holy Spirit. We
are His children and He will show us His Glory if we will be still and wait
upon Him. Read John 17. The most glorious chapter in all the
Bible, I think!
May you be
refreshed and strengthened and filled with hope and the Love of God while
you are here.
I would be very happy to hear from you. Feel free to
write to me as you feel lead. |
